This is my first build when I was interested in building AR, but unfortunately that time has passed. I spent hours youtubing and asking for help. I was super excited when doing this build. But unfortunately it was a very poor amateur build. Very very poor. After sitting on it and seeing it for the first time in a year I just feel terrible. Been sitting on it for 2 years and keep telling myself I would come back and take it apart and start from scratch. But truth be told, I am just not into it anymore. So I am letting these go to go towards bills. 1st 308 build I started a couple years ago. Unfortunately it does not function the way I thought It would. Stove pipe, double feeds all day. Does ok with steel. $500 w/o BCG $560 with BCG Comes as you see. Accessories included. Will come with extra parts as well. These were parts I purchased to try and fix the issue. I believe the issue is with the gas. I have and adjustable gas block on it and was goiing to replace it with a standard gas block. This was a crappy build. So please refrain from the negative comments. Upper and lower: Matrix Aerospace Standard trigger/upper/lower kits Midwest Industries 15in MLOK. (needs a new barrel nut) Cheap tru-glow optics. ODIN Works adjustable gas block Heavy buffer from heavybuffer.com and coil spring. I don't remember the make of the barrel unfortunately. I do not remember who the manufacturer is for the BCG something a long the lines of David or Wilson BCG. Its been a long time. I have shot about 400 rounds thru the barrel. Next up is my AR15 Pistol. $500 BCG included I did a better job with this one but again its got trouble feeding. I think its the gas block as well. Fired approximately 400 rounds. When lubed up wet it does good. Double feed here and there. Again was going to replace the gas block. Will come with all accessories on the pistol. Upper/Lower: Aero Precision Aeroprecision standard lower/upper parts kit sightmark red dot MentiumUSA KEY mod handgaurd and flip sights 10.5 Bear creek barrel. ODIN works adjustable gas block. Phase5 Pistol tube Spikes Tactical H2 Buffer This will come with all parts and 8-10 FREE 30rnd mags. Mixture of Gen 2 and Gen 3 mags. I have thought long and hard about this as a good personal truck/home gun but decided to go another route. (Criss Vector .45) Serious Inquiries ONLY

@Magwa @Robocop1051 I just got off the phone with Inforce customer service. The rep I spoke to said the pistol light do not come with extra rail bars. The light out of the packaging will fit any full size to Compact pistols. The only time you need to remove the rail bar if you're putting the light on a Glock. So it looks like I was never missing any pieces. Maybe it was the instructions I put in my pocket. Yes. I saw that youtube vid as well. So I assumed I was missing them. If you would like to confirm. Here is their phone number 401-294-2030 they're based out of Rhode Island. -

@beantown I remembered reading on theirwebpage that the Inforce light does not fit on Px4 storm which i have and H&K pistols. Not sure which model H&K model. @Robocop1051 Yes. I remember they came with 2 extra rail bar. the day I opened the present I remember putting them in my pockets and I must have forgotten about them. The rail bar that is on it now I am not sure. It came out of the packaging installed. Ill double check my box of gun parts to see if i may have placed it in there. Will update. I will call them to see if they are willing to send me the extra bars If I cant find it. @Magwa No worries brother I understand and Yes I knew the bastard comment was towards @Robocop1051 :) @sketch You have been PM'd -

Sweet. Thanks guys. Montana was on the list. But not sure why the wife dropped that off the list. Texas is going strong for us. Making a first trip out to Texas In Feb. Got a family member out in Houston and a friend out in Denton.
-
Texas is an option for us. I grew up always seeing mountains. It be kind of a change not seeing mountains around. Ha. We plan on visiting Texas to see how it is. The wife wanted to go to Texas first. So we'll look into it definitely.
-
Thank you for your input mrmackc. Texas was our 2nd option in case we both decided that Colorado was not for us.

Anyone here from Colorado? The wife and I plan on moving from Alaska to Colorado. What are their gun laws there? I read quite a few only about their handguns but no rifles. Are ARs restricted? Magazine restrictions on both handgun and rifle? I read it's ok to open carry but require a permit if concealed. Alaska is different. No capacity. No permits to conceal or open. Any insight would be great.

Thank You JT. Thank you everyone else for posting up the links on my thread. I will have a look at all of them.

Look! I understand that an experienced builder like yourself is angry and very impatient by reading your post here on my thread. I apologize. But one thing for sure is. I didnt LIE about anything. Thats why I am here asking for what kind of blocks members on here are using. Obviously my wooden blocks arent holding up to a 55-65lb torque. It made it to 35lb torqued. And obviously I am in need to tighten it down. Honestly. If thats just how you are, calling others liars for no apparent reason and making other's feel like an idiot. Obviously makes you feel better about yourself and superior. You dont have to post any of your 2cents and disrespectful BS here. Just move along.

1. Who are you to come and $hit on my thread? when I am respectfully asking for help and advice? Criticism here and there sure. But it seems like its all the time. I do apologize if I am wrong in advance. 2. I knew what I was getting into. I do have a bench vise. I do have some tools. When it comes to blocks I improvise just like anyone on here may have done in the past or still currently are. I used wooden blocks. I use what I can and when I can. Sure its not tighten down to "spec". I used what I could. 3. Where in the world did you come up with or even see me using shims or cardboard? Please dont open your mouth and blow non sense out. Thats anti-sieze grease. Color just happens to be brown/bronze. Sure. You maybe a smart guy. And a very experienced guy. Of course nothing gets past you. And thats why I need yours and many others help. Maybe you're doing this out of my benefit. For my safety and others. But to make me sound and feel like an idiot on this forum so other forum members can see is not cool. Mistakes happens. Plus I dont have a wad of cash that I $hit out of my arse. Nor am I retired and have cash sitting around to spend. Or make that kind of money. This is my new hobby and I am starting to like it. I went from rice rockets, to off roading to salt water aquariums now this. Its a great hobby. A great skill I can add onto my life resume. Its a great hobby. Yes I know I made a few mistakes. Thats on me. Thanks for pointing that out Wash. I will fix those mistakes. If I was as experienced as you Ill give advice. Ill put my knowledge out there to help new people getting into hobby. But dont be disrespectful. Maybe I am reading you wrong and I am taking it the wrong way. If I am, I am sorry in advance. But please be respectful on someone else's thread when they're asking for any form of help or advice. For those who were kindly to even take the time to read my threads and give their solution for helping this new hobbyist. Thank you. Just be a little patient.
