  1. Thank u much. The boys at polymer 80 have called me at 8 in the morning wed thrust Friday. I've sent them emails pics, ect. They are working with me... Its Ben frustrating .. But I feel like if it just would have Ben super easy. I wouldn't b learning more about every part and its functions. Thanks again everyone
  2. I sent polymer 80 a butt load of pics this morning. There support. Man mike Dolan called me at 8 o'clock. This morning , and said that. They would address all issues, and if need be replace any and all parts. And if they have to they will machine fit my lower and upper.
  3. Well polymer 80 got ahold of me and they are sorting everything out. Thank all of u for your help.
  4. And on my second 308 bolt carrier I am noticing a mark on the end of the firing pin where its catching. And I don't think the firing pin can even move enough to get the primer to pop I will take more pics of bolt
  5. It is only catching some time and feels like it is binding up the spring the last half and three quarters or half an inch, which is why I think I need the 7 and a half to 8 inch tube. And I think it is. Resting the hammer. But maybe not all the way. And I'm hearing a light click, when I pull trigger.
  6. If in brain farting please let me no. I will take corrective criticism. Loll as long as she starts working. Everyone that is helping me. Thank u greatly for your time. Every inch of this build I am being educated. Didn't think the build was gonna b easy, but didn't think it was gonna b difficult , in patiently, and diligently. Working on it.
  7. And yes it is chambering the second round, but barely dimpling primer
  8. When I put the gas tube on and the gas block I plugged the barrel with my finger. And blew through it to make sure it was correct. In my earlier post I mentioned. That I baleave I have the wrong buffer tube. Am looking to figure that out and where and what I need to fix it.
  9. No I did not. Was told that that wasn't needed to do in. This kit. I did stick the barrel in vise. Then put a bullet in it and closed the bolt lugs in the barrel. Did not use a no go though.
  10. I bought the upper in the kit. Yes I built it . I know ithas mil spec parts. A Sodom barrel I will look up what company the bolt carrier is made by. But I trulythink my issue is simple. I also built a second upper and both have same problem. Which leads me tword. Buffertube, buffer spring issue. And when a man from the military says look at this before anything else. I tend to listen
  11. Hi, I have recently purchased. A polymer 80. Warthog, buffer y build and shoot kit. I am brand new to self building and totally turned on to the experience!! Its the funniest puzzle I've ever put together. I am having some serious issues with my build though. I got it all put together, and noticed that when I loaded the clip the bolt was not going all the way back behind the bullet so there was no way the gun would feed properly. I ordered a new heavy buffer from polymer 80. It feeds awsone now. Then I took it to the range. I shoot, and on the second bullet click... No boom. I asked a couple people what it could b. Showed them the dented primers. They said file the firing pin so it hits deeper. Did that. Still didn't work. I was shooting with a kid who was on military leave. He told me that his gun did the same thing back at the base, and he had the armory fix it. They put the right buffer and spring in it... I looked into that and I think that I need a buffer tube for an ar 10. And they gave me one for a 15. I thought the short buffer would fix this. But I think I need the right buffer tube, spring, and buffer. I would b glad to post pics, video of function, anything to get my puzzle working. Thanks Ozzybear
