I've "put together" a couple of .223 AR's, but I really wanted a .308 AR, primarily for hunting hogs in East Texas. This one I decided to build from the trigger on up. I found the Geissele DMR trigger on sale. Then, the main decision seemed to be which manufacturers' platform to go with. I chose the Aero Precision M5 platform. So far, I have the stripped receivers. I ordered the lower parts kit, buffer kit, stock, and grip. I installed the trigger to see how it fit. So far, so good. Here's a picture of what I've got so far.
