I decided to put together a 308AR because it is something that has been on my mind for a few years. I like .30 cal rifles above 5.56/.223. My first rifle was a Mosin, which made me love .30 cal. I have a WASR 10 and Norinco 93 Sporter. My hunting rifle is in 308. So it made sense for me to take the next step into the semi auto, big bore world. In addition I've become increasingly interested in precision marksmanship of the past few years.

Wash, I have one of those. It makes for a heavy stick. No complaints.

Greetings gentlemen and ladies, New Guy here. New to Big Bore ARs. I've "assembled" an AR-15 with Carbine and Rifle length uppers. I had a lot of help from YouTube and a few forums as well as experience with the platform in the Army. I finished my first 308AR a few month back. I learned a lot from this forum after I put it together. I decided to join up after reading up on the "new rifle FTF/FTE" issues. Next time I get to the range I'll be using 180gr ammo and lube it up with Castrol.
