  2. This book
  3. My bad fellas. Still getting use to the forum.
  4. So my 178 amax shot very well with 44 grains of varget. I'm now considering a new load to see how it does. I'm thinking a 168 grain amax with 44 grains of accur 2520 powder. Should yield around 2690 to 2700 fps. Anybody have any experience with that powder or combo?
  5. It does not get any better than the reloaders bench in Mt. Juliet Tn. Those guys are the best.
  6. Everytime I try to log on it has my email and password saved. I click on sign in and it tells me my password is wrong. I have to click forgot my password and change my password so etimes 4 or 5 times a day. I'm sure it's something that I'm missing somewhere. Thanks.
  7. Absolutely. Thanks so much.
  8. That is straight from the powder web site.
  9. I thought something similar to that as well. Took it to the gunsmith and reload shop this morning. They said absolutely normal to have some slivers like that. I've only Put 100 rounds thru it and he told me to continue to clean and lube and clean and lube. No pressure issues going on and seat and crimp looked fine on my hand load. I guess I just got a little paranoid. I still don't really understand the reason the fusion shot like crap out of my AR10. Thanks everybody for the replies and suggestions.
  10. I did run a patch after 20 rounds. I also used a little oil as I didn't want it to run dry. As I mentioned earlier, my hand loads shot great without any problem. I had bought a couple boxes of fusion to hunt deer with and never used them. I took them to the range to see how they shot. The fusions are shorter in oal than my hand loads. On my fusion rounds I did not load a full mag. I loaded 10 each time. The gas block doesn't show any signs of slivers but the bolt had some around the extractor. Most were located at the beginning of the bore. The cleaners I am using are pictured below.
  11. Totally different today with the fusions.
  12. Diamond Back db10 308. 16 inch heavy barrel with a 1/10 twist. Bought brand new in the box. Put 60 rounds in it yesterday and never had a problem. Cleaned and lubed and reassembled correctly last night for more range time today. Everything lubed that should be lubed. Had 0 shavings yesterday, but I only shot my hand loads yesterday. Thank so much. This was 100 yards yesterday. After the first 2 we're low I got it pretty close.
  13. I see you have a ranger patch. I would like to thank everyone on the forum who served or that are serving in the military. Hats off to you guys and gals. I never served but have the up most respect to the ones that have and do serve. My son just got out of the Navy and we are glad to have him home.
  14. Look on the right side and their are several pieces on that one side. Sorry bout the quality of pic.
