I got my highest velocity with Accurate 2520 iirc, will verify when I get home later today. I tried Varget, 8208, Leverevolution, and 1 or 2 more I can't recall offhand.

You can't use the razor/knife blade trick on the DPMS LR-308 lower due to the design of it. Where did you get the tool from? Brownell's only sells the AR-15 tool.

I have a full Seekins upper/lower build with a SRC 25/45 barrel. I built it way back about 3 years ago, right after SHOT where I first found it. I have back-burnered it, mainly because I lost interest in it and no one else even heard of it. I did kill 2 pigs with it, though.My avatar picture is me with the 25/45 and one of the pigs.

I am trying to build a LR308, can't for the life of me get the pivot pin installed. I've done 20-30 AR15 lowers, and have the tool from Brownells, but the diameter is too small and I can't get the pivot pin to follow it into place before the detent pops up. How are you guys doing this? It's driving me batsh*t crazy!!
