Dad Decided he didn't want his dpms lr308 ap4 and wanted my m1a instead, so we swapped. He carried an m14 for 4 years in The Corps and was very familiar with it operation. I had already made upgrades on both rifles. Now i'll concentrate on building the ar. Plus I was raised on the big hole theory of.308 and 45acp. lol

Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Joe. I recently aquired dad's dpms lr 308. He decided he wanted my M1A more since he carried one for 4 years in the Marine Corps. I have done some upgrades to it prior to the swap. Full float vented hand guard, low profile gas block and flip up sights and ambi safety. I plan to add ambi mad release and upgrade the trigger, add a bipod, etc.
