Got my 1st trip planned in August about an hour or so west of Dallas .

Hello all, name is Dion and I have only owned lever action rifles (henry 45/70 and .22) and a Benelli supernova. Then I decided I needed a .308 for hog hunting and I decided on this Savage MRS 10 Hunter. Added a scope and a grip that doubles as a bipod. So far so good but I got a lot to learn about these types of rifles and I figured this forum would be the place to learn. Thanks in advance.
