  1. I don't care what they say about you, but you are A.O.K in my book!
  2. Ok so my friend wants to buy a Ar for his son to hunt with him. Is .260 rem good enough to hunt deer?
  3. Thank you everyone for gathering around the round table. I need help figuring out on what to get for my weapon light. The reason I want one is for hunting or weird noises/critters in my back yard, I live on an acre of land. I have two options for myself. Streamlight HLX vs Modlite OKW. Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount HL-X 1000 Lumen Weapon Light with Tapeswitch $93.54 with Cloud Defensive LCS Streamlight Pro-Tac Tape Switch Picatinny Mount - Black $62.43 Duel fuel system can be powered by (2) CR123A lithium battery or (1) Streamlight 18650 rechargeable IPX7 water proof to 1 meter for thirty minutes and impact tested to 2 meters with standard button switch IPX4 water resistant with remote pressure switch Limited lifetime warranty through Streamlight Includes: Push-button tail cap, remote pressure switch, remote switch retaining clips, double sided tape, zip ties, and (2) CR123A batteries Modlite Systems OKW-18650 Complete Light $277.20 75 minute runtime with 18650 Includes two 18650 KeepPower rechargeable batteries Includes Nitecore D2 charger Assembled in the U.S.A. with lifetime guarantee Streamlight cons: 50/50 on Liability Pressure switch may have a problem Bad in distance wise Doesn't come with rechargable 18650 and charger. Modlite cons: expensive, like $121.23 more, and I might have to add surefire pressure switch. Doesn't come with pressure switch Just a little less run time than HLX. Any advice is appreciated.
  4. Sometimes we dip into 60 degree, and that's cold for us.
  5. Whao, hey, hookers need love too. They are always out there... in the cold streets, to provide love to strangers but do people think about them, that they need love too? No, because people are selfish. So I support hookers by keeping them off the streets.
  6. I think that's what gun addicts say...
  7. I feel like I'm in danger, am I in danger? Or my wallet is in danger..
  8. For me I'm messing around with the suppressor, night vision is expensive for a good one.
  9. I can't wait to take some aliens down with this bad boy, if I win.
  10. They also offer discounts towards military and first responders I think, I signed up for it. But Armalite still comes out cheaper.
  11. Night vision?! You guys are insane!
  12. Armalite has it back in stock! 16 left
  13. It is badass, is one of those go big or go home build.
  14. Ouch, that is a kick in the nuts!
  15. Didn't get to talk to the guy who handles these things, I think his name is Glenn, but I left a message. Another option is eurooptics.com.
  16. I'll take the bait, how you know?
  17. Got it, *writing in my journal* ( watch out for Cunuckgaucho because he is shady...).
  18. Oh nice, thank you for your help everyone!
  19. Got it, I signed up for their back in stock email when he posted that. Would I have to go heavier on the buffer?
  20. I forgot about JP AR10 Silent Captured Spring Builder Kit in there as an option.
  21. I can't afford a 350 dollar for a lightweight bcg, I bought my bcg for 100 bucks, haha. So I'm left with the heavier buffer option then. Thank you for the link. I'll look around for a kit that's available.
  22. Armalite buffer kit on a dpms style rifle?
  23. From what I read here at least 5.4 oz? That's probably why it hits my shoulder so hard, with the full mass bcg hitting the light buffer.
  24. Good evening, The purpose of my Ar 10 is to hunt suppressed, I would also like to tame it enough for my wife and child to shoot it too and make it enjoyable. I have a complete lower Aero precision lower M5 Carbine Receiver Extension with atlas handguard and aero precision upper receiver. Faxon 16 inch pencil barrel, midlength, with Superlative .750 adjustable gas block, and a 8 inch can (which is why I'm going with 16 inch barrel). I almost got titanium bcg but is too expensive so I bought Brownell BCG nitride and it weights 1lb 2.4oz. Buffer weight 3.8 oz. She still kicks pretty good, I'm planning to put one of my magpul ctr with limbsaver on it to see how she feels. After looking through the web, I saw several options. 1) A5 receiver with 308 rifle buffer spring and an AR15 carbine buffer 2) Armalite AR10 Carbine receiver extension, which runs a standard-length AR15 H3 Carbine buffer with Armalite EA1095 buffer spring according to 98Z5V 3) Tubb AR10 spring with h2 buffer according to this guy http://c3junkie.com/?page_id=654 4) geissele super 42? There's probably more options but it starts to get overwhelming. I appreciate any advice.
