Older thread but still great info and I'd appreciate some help and/or clarification. I have the Wilson Combat 16" Recon Tactical barrel in .308, and it says it has an "intermediate" gas length. I installed the intermediate length (from Rainier Arms) tube/gas block correctly and everything lines up perfectly, but the tube extends well past the cam pin cutout of my Aero upper receiver. Naturally, the BCG doesn't seat correctly and I'm at a loss what to troubleshoot next.
