  1. I use the the Lee Factory Crimp Die for all my handgun loads. Time to put one in the shopping cart for the ARC. 👍
  2. I don't do a lot of loading for gas guns and it occurred to me that I might need to crimp 6mm ARC in my AR platform. Are you guys putting a slight crimp on your 6mm ARC handloads?
  3. Thanks for your help during this project. I run the SI Ultimate Dust Covers on my AR15 builds without issue but the AR10 is another animal. I’ll order one for the AR10. She’s all back together with the Diamondback handguard you suggested. I cut back the barrel to 22” and threaded it for a brake. It’s still a beast of a rifle.
  4. Pic attached for clarification. If the SI dust cover will work, I’ll go ahead and assemble the upper and install the SI cover when it arrives later.
  5. It is an AR10-T. It does have the extra long rod but no C-clip. I can cut the rod so the new railed handguard captures it. A559AF36-224B-4F1A-84D7-834E0D9F8AF2.heic
  6. The dust cover rod on my AR10 receiver is too long and interferes with my handguard and barrel nut. One option is to replace the dust cover with this Strike Industries unit: https://www.strikeindustries.com/si-ar-udc-308.html Does anyone have experience with fitting the Strike Ultimate Dust Cover to an Armalite AR10 receiver? It seems compatibility may be an issue.
  7. Thanks for the links, I appreciate your help! It looks like Diamondback has one in stock that will work with an Armalite upper receiver. I was so happy to score the Armalite upper back in the day but, now its struggle to get parts for it. The majority of aftermarket parts are for DPMS low profile receivers. This is my only large receiver platform AR. I was going to build another one but went with the 6mm ARC instead.
  8. I sent Midwest an email a couple of weeks ago, no response. Called them today and the phone lines were down because of the storm. It's a good looking rail for sure, I have one on an AR15. I'm hoping they can help me out.
  9. I've been scouring the web for railed handguard options. It looks like I am severely limited with the Armalite 18 TPI barrel nut. The only hand guards I have found currently being produced are Armalite and Sampson. I like the Midwest Industries handguard but, it's no longer on their website. Are there any other 15" M-LOK options out there?
  10. Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping they feed well in 6mm ARC. I want to get a few mags and was hoping I wouldn't have to modify the feedlips.
  11. Have you tried these AR Stoner 6mm ARC mags? They look like they are the same as the ASC mags. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1022882067?pid=448254
  12. Thanks for the link. I've bought from Creedmoor Sports in the past but, their Grendel brass was out of stock. I did find some in stock at Arm or Ally though! I'm in business and relieved I don't have to try to size down 7.62 x 39 brass thats been collecting dust for years.
  13. Agreed, I'm not holding my breath. It seems even finding 6.5 Grendel brass is challenging at this point.
  14. Thanks for the response. I swore I wouldn't do another cartridge but, this 6mm ARC is hard to resist. I'll probably just resize Grendel brass. Midway has the Hornady ARC brass listed on their site as "coming soon". Estimated 11/07/21🤪
  15. Thanks guys, I appreciate the welcome.
  16. I'm trying to source some 6mm ARC brass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  17. New member, stuck behind enemy lines on the west coast. I've got an AR10-T that hasn't seen the light of day for at least a decade. I found this forum searching for compatible handguards. It doesn't seem like there are many options for the AR10 upper with its 18 TPI barrel nut.
