  1. Started working on a load for the AR-10, using Hornady 178 ELD-m's and staball match. I had a jug I bought when it came out a few years back, didn't really try using it too much, since I had 20lbs of varget to blow through. I started at 42 grains, and got anywhere from 1 to 1.7 inch groups until I got to 44.7, which is looking a little better at .89 inches. Next step up at 45.2 was about 1.25”, then 45.7 opened up to 3.9” with some ejector swipes. Just wanted to see if anyone else was trying this powder and having any luck with it. I like how it meters, and it's considerably less expensive around here than the others.
  2. Thanks everyone
  3. Your info was right on, unlike the rest of the internet, so thanks for writing it all up
  4. I found it when searching google for details on 308 AR buffers, receiver extensions and gas systems.
  5. Greetings, just started reading the forum since getting into the 308 AR game. Currently shooting a DPMS LR and Armalite NM. The NM qualifies as a service rifle for high power matches, so I've been using it rather than my regular A2 for the last month or so. Both have been accurate and 100% reliable. So far so good. Thanks, Gary
