This is a old post but a good option for a gas mounted front sight would be Troy, they make one specifically for gas blocks.

I carry a Glock 36 with a chambered round without a holster, for safety purposes though I did install a quick release clip and maintain a quick removal safety plug for the trigger.

Hello fellow gun enthusiasts! I am rather new to 308 caliber AR platforms and have recently picked up a Sig 716I and a Springfield Saint, I am interested in knowing if their is anything I should be concerned with in regards to functioning or reliability issues with both rifles along with corrective actions to resolve potential issues.
