Hello, I mostly shoot .223 and .300 BLK but am interested in .308 for medium and longer range shooting. I feel like I have a lot to learn about AR-10/SR25, in terms of how the different components differ and what can fit with what. Happy to have found this forum.

What made you decide to move to the 308 AR/AR-10 Platform?

I’m building a .308 AR because I wanted something more robust than a .223 AR and a more tried-and-true cartridge than .300 BLK, and above all for medium to long range.
