Learned some more about how to use GRT, you need to adjust the "Initial Pressure" until you get your measured fps. then run the OBR.
my last test results ended at 43.2g of Varget, col 2.800, giving me avg 2511fps at the muzzle. results were 15/16 group. tweaking the GRT as described gave me this as a node. could also check different temperature ranges, it gets hot in Texas.
i still hear you. but you realise that by the time you see over pressure signs on your spent casing, you are already way over the top. In Texas i shoot is 40 deg to 100 deg temperatures, so i'd rather keep loads in the safe range. .94 group will kill hogs and deer just as good as .64 group. thanks for your interest though.
on a side note this GRT does not match up with Hodgdons max loads, but then again, i'm entering my rifles exact data, and my cases, bullets, etc. whereas the rifles used by Hodgdon never matches mine.
