What made me mive to 308? My dad decided he no longer wants to shoot due to his age (79 this year). He asked me if i wanted his DPMS LR308 target rifle. I couldnt say no. I like the gun. Now, i have a friend willing to give me a DPMS Gen 2 lower. Somebody please stop me, this is going to be an obsession. I am already planning a build with this lower, and i havent even taken posession of it yet.
