1legdown Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Does any one have any experience with apps that integrate targeting info on rifle mounted smartphone apps. I purchased a couple reticles at .99 ea. They are pretty cool. Haven't braved the buck-fifty for the mount. Any help out there?
ironmonster Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 I loaded the app and played with it for a while. I dont think it would work worth a damn in the real world. Load up the app and go play with it in various lighting and see what you can see. I was real excited at first but after spending 10 minutes out in the world it became apparent it was not all it was cracked up to be.
1legdown Posted March 18, 2015 Author Report Posted March 18, 2015 Saw it being used at the range...good to about 50 yds...if you can see through your phone that far. Great idea...iPhones and high power rifles don't mix. Keep your Nikon. Cool app. I own two useless cool recticles. 1legdown
