kiddsnow Posted June 20, 2016 Report Posted June 20, 2016 Hey guys Im new on here...Just purchased a DPMS Oracle and want to replace the stupid plastic guards. I have been reading about the problems that dpms poses for some rail systems. What rails do you guys recommend and do I need to change anything? I've read people having to change out the gas block so wanted people's opinion/ experience with the DPMS system. Just a quick intro...Im in the Marine Corps stationed in K-Bay, HI and this is my first AR I've bought. Thanks for the help guys.
shepp Posted June 20, 2016 Report Posted June 20, 2016 All depends on what length guard you go with. If you wanted to go with a longer guard you'd probably need a low profile has block. Does your rifle look like either of these?

Any measurements or brands? Sorry id measure it but I'm currently waiting 2 weeks for my Hawaii background check haha
