I purchased a upper receiver from a place called precisionarms. It is based on the dpms a3 style. I assume its either a clone or they just slapped their name on the side. Ayway I just purchased the dpms bolt carrier. Here are the parts i plan to buy to complete my upperBarrel- Rainier ultramatch ss 18"Bolt- Jp Enhanced boltgas block- jp low profileCompensator-Battlecomp BABc Which type firing pin/cam/ retainer would i need? Would these components mesh together or no? Is there anything else I am not thinking of? Any help would be great !
98Z5V Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Which type firing pin/cam/ retainer would i need? DPMS/DPMS/DPMS, since the carrier is a DPMS.That barrel (and it's extension) are both Armalite and DPMS compatible, and so is the bolt, so those parts should work together.
