Pete
I just purchased an armalite ar10 16” tactical and it came with a carbine buffer set up. Will I be able to switch to armalites rifle buffer set up so I can use a better fixed stock since I am in NJ? Will this cause any issues? Will the rifle buffer kit perform better, worse or make no difference? This is a mid length system and has an adjustable gas block.

That's why Armalite designed it that way. the AR-10 Carbine and Ar-10 Rifle recoil systems perform the same. You can even save money - don't buy a recoil spring - it's the very same recoil spring in the carbine and rifle recoil systems, the EA1095 spring. You just need the rifle receiver extension and rifle buffer (5.200" rifle buffer, not AR15 shiit). Go hit the Intro Section and tell us about yourself.
