Hi All,

I'm trying to determine if I can meet the IN DNR requirements with my AR308.

IN DNR says rifle cartridge length nte 1.8" and bullet of .357 or larger.

Wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a bullet in the 150-250 wt range that would still allow me to utilize a shortened .308 cartridge and still have the overall length to use my 308 lower/mags (I can get a barrel for .450/.458/.50).

Thanks!

I'm not positive but I think the section you are quoting for cartridge length and bullet diameter applies to their recently adopted "Handgun-caliber rifle" ruling.  The folks on MarlinOwners were all over that for lever-action rifles.
