I have had many types of them but one of my favorites is the TT-33 or the Norinco type 54. They are basically a ripoff of the 1903 Colt, and share similarities with the 1911. I feel equally at home with a 1911, a 17/19 Glock, a 3-4” revolver, a Jframe or dick special. But the TT-33 is my favorite. here is my Romanian TT-33 and Norinco type 54. the Norinco is better built, but I just fit a type 54 barrel to the Romanian to replace the sewer pipe it came with. for a truck or hiking pistol I trust it like no other. the 7.62x25 round has its advantages, and there are more than a few of these pistols types available in 9mm.
