HDWarlord
My question, and it may be a stupid one, is in reference to Line 12 on the form 1. Line 12 refers me to instruction 2d.Instruction 2d "((1) attach to each copy in item 12 of the ATF Form 1, a 2 inch x 2 inch photograph of his/her frontal view taken 479.63 says one year prior to the date of the application)". I did not read anything about a passport photo, but many forums I have visited regarding this subject keep mentioning passport photos. I have never left the U.S. ; Apart from a deployment. Maybe that is why I am confused. http://308ar.com/forum/Smileys/default/dontknow.gif What is the difference between a passport photo and any other 2" x 2" photo of me? Can I print one out myself? If not, where do I get passport photos?Other than that, this is what I think I know about the process of making/registering a sbr. Feel free to correct/enlighten me if I left anything out.Fill out form 1(printed on both sides of one piece of paper).Fill out citizenship certification.Get fingerprinted with the blue cards.Have duplicates of all of the aforementioned documents.Get CLEO's signature.Send $200 check and completed forms to the BATFESend receiver to engraver.Wait 6+ months for ATF to approve/disapprove my form 1. Team Helotes
Yes it can be your own photo taken and printed. Just make sure it is a clear photo like you would have on a drivers license.
planeflyer21
And for passport photos they don't let you smile...your face must be totally devoid of any expression.Jon
weaponizer
I needed one for my concealed carry license, and they mentioned i get a passport photo, and i found out that Wal-Mart does this for around 10 bucks, and you get 2 photo's and a receipt that shows when you took the picture, so i sent the photo and receipt to avoid and hassle... Pappy1600
I went to CVS photo or Walgreens for my photos, I believe it was $8.00 for a set, Ask for passport photos. Good luck with your form 1, the worst part is the wait!
