HighRez
I know there's been a lot of gas block posts here, but I've been unable to find an answer to my question. I'm putting together a project that has a rifle length gas system and requires a .936 gas block. First, are AR-15 and LR-308 gas tubes interchangeable? Second, will I need a straight gas tube or one with the conventional bends? Thanks for the help.Bob
Robocop1051
Welcome HighRez!Gas tubes are universal. So you're ok there. If you were using a carbine gas system, then you might have to worry about the bend in the gas tube. A rifle length gas system is over 12" long. The tube will have plenty of flex for the less than 1/4" difference from a standard .750 gas block.
HighRez
Thanks Robo ... I appreciate it. Now if I could only find a bolt carrier group I could put this puppy together ;D
