Magpul UBR for DPMS

I just recently got a UBR stock from Magpul and have read through the posts here and I noticed that many people have gotten a custom buffer and a modified Armalite buffer spring.  Are these necessary for the installation of the stock?  And if so where can I find them?  I am trying to install the stock on a DPMS Sportical.

The typical .308-specific carbine buffer and spring can be used.  Don't try to use a 5.56-specific carbine buffer or spring.  That wouldn't work well.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I didn't have to purchase different parts before the stock could be installed
