TacBlade
So do I just eyeball it and hope the hole on the gas block and the hole in the barrel line up when I put the gas block on? I have no marks or indentions on the barrel to go by?

TacBlade
If you took a look at my build post, I also just went ahead and eyeballed it also! I hope it works out!
imschur
I have different procedures depending on the block. In general though I try to use the various flat surfaces. If the block is railed I will use the picatinny rails on flat surfaces. If its a low profile block I use the flat at the bottom of the block with the bottom of the upper receiver or magwell.Did the instructions tell you not to place the block against the shoulder on the barrel? TacBlade
No instructions came with it? Was I not suppose to put it up as tight as it will go on the barrel?
