TacBlade Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 I can only hunt with a 5 round mag here in South Dakota. That does not include predators, just deer and antelope. I would like to get a couple. I have seen people put a block in an AR15 .223 mag, but not sure what to use to block it with. I have Magpul 20 rounders now. Maybe if I get a 10 round California compliant Magpul, I could make a block like they have inside it, but longer?
ryantowry_81 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 they have them here:http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=4743&cat=1512but they are spendy!i have seen the remington cammo ones floating around too but they are also 45 bucks. i ahve been looking not cause i am forced to have 5 rounds but it dosn't fit in my scabbard with a 20 rounder hanging out and i would love to have a 5 rounder so i dont have to hike with it empty....
TacBlade Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Posted November 12, 2010 Great!!! I also found them at Cheaper than Dirt for $39.97
ryantowry_81 Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Still ironic the 4 rounders are 40 bucks and the 20's are 20-30 dollars
Ranger_Edge Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Go to www.44mag.com They have some...I have a couple they work great !
TacBlade Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Posted November 12, 2010 Nice find Ranger!!! They have C-Products 4 rounders for $14.99. They should work alright!!
Ranger_Edge Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 They work great. Not a jam anywhere...And they're priced right.
ryantowry_81 Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Sweet that is a good find! I will have to get one if those. How far does the four rounder stick out of the magwell if at all?
Ranger_Edge Posted November 13, 2010 Report Posted November 13, 2010 Just a little bit...But enough to grab on to...
