moopey
I've decided on a barrel for my build....Fulton Armory 16" Ultralite barrel 1x10 twist and rifle length gas system. http://www.fulton-armory.com/barrelfatitan185lwcm1x10750gasblockchrome-lined-1.aspx Is anyone familiar with this barrel in regards to gas blocks? The site lists .625 gas block. I've tried finding one but haven't had much success. Ideally I'd like to find a low profile block that can be covered by the hand guard. If that's possible. I haven't decided on a hand guard yet. -Derek-
edgecrusher
http://www.precisionreflex.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=186795&CAT=4274 That will work fine, and allow for fine tuning!
moopey
ha. I was JUST on their site and completely missed it. I also just came across one from Spike's Tactical. Although I've never heard of them http://www.spikestactical.com/new/z/upper-parts-spikes-micro-gas-block-625-p-482.html Thanks egde. Now I need to find a hand guard. Since the barrel lists a rifle length gas system is it safe to assume any rifle length hand guard will work? I'm on the hunt for one that won't cost upwards of $400 if I can help it. Justintoxicated
I think you want a 15" handguard if you want it to cover the gas block on a rifle length system. Actually 15" will cover it by a couple inches. Edited May 30, 2013 by Justintoxicated
moopey
That's what I was thinking. I'm going to hold off on ordering a rail until I have gas block and barrel in hand. I don't want to order it two or three times like I did with my BCG. Haha
