motorrader56 Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 I have an Armalite AR10T in .243, purchased it new probably 20 years ago. I use it for predator hunting. But with all the new parts out there, I would really like to lighten it up with a new hand guard . The original one is this huge bulky fiberglass thing. I plan on adding a Bipod. So not sure what tools I need, barrel nut changes etc...Was thinking about the SWS free floater with a couple of grips attached. Thanks for your input. Kurt
Dane Armory Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 Welcome from AZ ! Look into magpul parts. Pretty easy to swap out with basic tools. Upgrade the trigger that's always a major improvement. Maybe a brake or comp would also be an option.
