First Lr-308

About 6 months ago I finished assembling an ar-15 and was test firing it at the range when I had the pleasure of firing an lr-308. Wow so I started researching different 308s and decided to go with dpms. so after 6 months of research and ordering parts. This afternoon my son and I test fired 60 rounds . three kinds of ammo. And all 60 ran flawless. I rapid fired ten rounds then my son rapid fired ten. We were having so much fun we were laughing. Thank you 308ar.com forum members for the help and information I needed for this Assembly. You guys are awesome.

Sounds like you might have had as much fun as with my son this latest Fathers Day. I wound up enjoying the DPMS LR-308T more than I had before, and he wound up thinking he wants that caliber in that format, and he was grinning big.
