I have a lower made by sun devil mfg. in mesa az. these folks put a tensioning screw up through the lower to contact the rear pin. you can adjust the pin tension through the grip and it removes all the play between the upper and lower. Great idea sun devil.

I use the remingtons. They fit primer pockets that have been crimped before easier.

I started shooting the .308 ar because it is easier to get the cleaning media out of a .308 case than a .223 case. I shoot three different cals. in the ar. .223, 6.8 spc ll, and the .308. >308 was bought as a hog gun.

A cantiliver scope mount from RRA, been back ordered for several weeks.

w-r-ranch: I have been hunting around Crystal City and down by Encinal. Lots of rattling snakes out right now though, have to be careful.

I just found this site today and am excited for it. I own a RRA LR8-A2 that I bought just for hogs. I love this rifle but it has a few issues. It seems to have a short leade (Hornady 180 gr bullets seated to the canalure won't chamber) and some magazine issues. Anyway howdy from south Texas.
