Thanks guys, it is definitely my favorite rifle to shoot now! I picked up a steel 1/2 sized IPSC target right after I built it and have been putting it to work at 500 yds. I just need get some more ammo before I burn through my supply.

I really like the idea behind the M110 and once I saw it, I wanted to build something similar. Some that have used it have said that it is too front heavy with the 20" barrel and the A2 stock, so I went with a little shorter 18" barrel and a little heavier UBR stock w/steel strikeplate sling loop. I have 2 coats of matte clearcoat on it and it really brought the shine down from what it was.

I think there are a decent amount of us here from CA, welcome aboard. Are you building up a new rifle or do you already have something built? Lots of good info on here.

That sounds good, please report back with how it works for you. What lower/upper receiver do you have? Also, from what I've read about the Phase 5 ver 2, it replaces the bolt catch. Do you think it will hold up to the greater stress of the 308 platform? I have an upgraded bolt catch from fulton armory that is made to avoid the problems that have been encountered with a standard AR15 bolt catch on the 308 platform.

Does anyone make a extended or ambidextrous bolt catch lever for the 308AR? Basically something like the BAD lever from Magpul. My bolt release on my JD Machine lower is kind of recessed and I'm not used to it yet, I have to look at it to release it. I don't think it sticks out enough to just smack the side of the receiver with my support hand like on an AR15.

I just finished spraying my lower, wasn't too bad, went on really easy. Looks good so far, now to not touch it for 7-10 days. Once my LPK gets here that is going to be tough. ;)

I just got my lower from JD today, and I noticed that Fulton finally charged me for the upper so that should be shipping very soon! The rest of the parts I'll need are on their way to me also, so this should all be coming together pretty soon. I'll probably be the one to slow down the process, I'm gonna finish what I can in Alumahyde II FDE. And from what I hear that takes a while to completely cure.

I pick up my JD Machine lower from their shop tomorrow, but I'll still be waiting for the Titan Upper, LPK, and buffer/spring for an A2 stock from Fulton Armory. I'm just going to recycle my A2 stock on this build until I decide on an adjustable stock. I'm in CA, so I need to get a magazine lock, anyone know if one from an AR15 will work?

I have a few more days before I pick up my lower from JD, so I know how you feel, the waiting sucks. I have a Fulton Armory 18.5 Krieger barreled upper on its way to me too. Should just be a couple of more weeks (Crossing my fingers they didn't B.S. me on the timeline) I kind of wish I had gotten the matching upper/lower from JD after I saw how well they match up. Yours looks great, I think I'm going with the UBR too. I'm in SD so we should eventually get them together for a pic or two while we shoot. What is the best mag lock to use? I read that a standard Bullet button for an AR15 doesn't work as well on the 308, any truth to that?
