  1. Hope so, it was put together with pieces, not bought assembled…the barrel is a 24” DPMS SS bull barrel and the bolt is also a DPMS…
  2. I’ve had these for a minute, was going to use to see which shot best before we started talking about the ELD-X’s….which do you think would be best to zero in with?
  3. Hey fellas, after years of female cat-footing around, it's close to hitting the range...sorry for the cutoff picture, I was in a hurry when I took it, promise a better later...also, the scope is not in it's final spot, I had to check something with the rings and also realized I have about 1/4" or less clearance between the shade and the top of the rail (DD Lite ;)...the barrel is also 24"... Can't wait to get this to the range to zero it... 98Z5V...I might have a question inbound about ammo to zero it with...
  4. SShhhhhh.....I still have one also 😉
  5. Just finished measuring the entire bag of 1k rounds of brass and only had 5 cull pieces, one was a definite and the others had issues... Just scored the Garmin Xero C1 chrono on sale for $100 off too....
  6. I had forgotten to ask this....the cases are already primed with the CCi 34's.....is there that much of a difference between them and the CCI 200's?
  7. ...and it's a great soap box!!!
  8. what did your case and overall length end up being? I need to get a chrono badly, which one would you recommend?
  9. I just checked, 2495 seems to be in alot of places, so that shouldn't be a problem.....what kinda specs did you end up going with your rounds?
  10. I was actually going to message you yesterday about it since we've talked about it before, but didn't want to bug ya...
  11. Hey fellas, I've finally gotten to the point where I'm actually going to start loading...(finally, after years) and the last piece of the puzzle is which powder to finally decide on. I've got 1k primed Lake City, pulled but never fired brass cases and Hornady 178gr ELD-X pills......I was leaning towards either StaBALL Match or Varget, but would really like to hear if anyone has used a similar mix of load components... Main purpose of the rifle with mainly be comps and maybe some hunting with it, unless I decide to build something on the smaller platform... Included older pic of the build, currently doesn't have an optic on it, trying to decide between the 2 that I have...
  12. Hey fellas, I'm back online.....and still here in Maryland, short of 1 bridge...LOL, not really, I missed that incident by a few hours...
  13. Well……almost 2 years later and I’m still here, time to see if anyone else has shown up in Maryland!
  14. I was gonna message you, but figured it had been a minute and wasn't sure if anything had changed... Definitely going to stick with the X's for the long run and going to try to stop into a gun show near by and see if anyone has StaBALL Match at not crazy prices, that way I don't have to pay for shipping/HazMat fees... But everything should be near the time soon, especially since I've got a spot to work in...need to get my scope leveled out and zero'd too...might have to try this indoor range about an hour away from me and zero it there... Side note, still thinking about cutting down my barrel from 24" to maybe 20"...and going to start looking at suppressors also...thinking ThunderBeast or Dead Air
  15. I'm sure 98Z5V is gonna laugh his ass off at me since he and I were talking about loads for my AR way back in the beginning of the year and I still haven't done anything...simple response: I finally got a bench I can work on...LOL So now I'm curious as to a specific load configuration and if anyone is currently running it and how is it performing...again, que 98Z5V... Hornady 178 ELD-X and StaBALL Match....had someone tell me BTHP's are better in an AR instead of the ELD-X....these will also be loaded into new production/pre-primed '21 LC brass
  16. Yea, as soon as I scrap together some spare cash I'll give them a look-see...
  17. Yea, normally I would've gone with single rings like I usually do, but decided to try the one piece time....LOL, that's what I get!
  18. Pretty much...now I have to figure out how to get some new rings...hopefully I can get a trade off of a set of Seekins Precision 30mm rings I had for the AR previously...we shall see...
  19. Here's another kicker....managed to get another rail to try the mount on, my stepsons AR.....and wouldn't you know, it fit perfectly....so I sent another email to Iron Ridge Arms, after I already sent one with the dimensions and images they wanted to see...I'm pretty sure they are just going to ignore me and basically tell me to fornicate off....their poop ain't cheap either...
  20. Since I'm having no luck with a one piece mount for my AR, I've decided to go back to regular rings...but I need 34mm Rings So I have a set of Seekins Precision High AR 30mm rings that I would like to trade for 34mm rings at or close to the same quality as Seekins...
  21. LMAO!!!! Got the new mount and still does the same poop....screw the one piece mount, I'm gonna go back to regular rings...
  22. Lucky that I got it when I did, the price went up about a week ago.....not just gotta setup the FL sizing die so it doesn't pop the primers when I run them through...
  23. I think this might be enough to get started…LOL
  24. Me too, I heard their customer service was very good and was hoping for a good outcome...
  25. Yes sir, I value good customer service...regardless if it's a big company or a mom & pop shop...without it, people lose trust...
