  1. That's good to know, I have had similar looking brass and thrown it away. Now I will save it to reload.
  2. I'm ordering a YHM suppressor adapter for my current build(260 Rem) and my 308. I'll work on getting the can later; but I've heard good things about YHM, that's why I went with them. I really don't think you'd go wrong with Surefire, either. YHM is a little more reasonable, though. Let us know which one you go with! <thumbsup> I love quiet rifles.
  3. Let us know how that thing shoots!
  4. Alright my friends, I need your help. Have any of you had any experience with Fulton's side cocking upper receiver? I have a few pieces parts for a new build and really like the idea of the side cocker. So far I have a DPMS lower, bolt, JP adjustable gas block, and just got a call from Krieger Barrels letting me know that my new barrel is almost done. Chambered in 260 Rem. and 26 inches long. I can't wait to finish this thing!! ;D
  5. Here's my first LR-308 that I built last year. Lothar 18 inch barrel, DPMS upper and lower, Timney trigger, DPMS fore-end(not a huge fan, getting a VTAC soon).
  6. Like the Paint job!! Thought about doing the same on my current build, too many black rifles out there now. Duracoat makes good stuff, thinking about one of their camopaks.
  7. Anybody familiar with the YHM fast attach model for suppressor? Don't have a can, yet...but hope to soon. Need to send the fast attach to Krieger before they turn my new barrel, which means I need to decide between YHM and Surefire.
  8. I agree with the old saying, "there is no such thing as a stupid question." How will you ever learn if you don't ask?? I am currently building my second LR 308 based rifle, and don't think I would have attempted either one without the knowledge gained here.
  9. That makes a lot of sense. A couple of times I had double feeds and noticed that the bullet in the first cartridge out of the mag was hammered pretty good. Thanks.
  10. Over the weekend, I shot a bunch of Wisconsin Cartridge ammo loaded with 150 gr. bullets. I had, "blown out" primers on four out of eighty rounds. Has anyone else had this problem? I didn't notice any other pressure signs on the cases.
  11. Tell you what, I just built my first one on a DPMS lower and upper and Lothar 18 inch barrel. This rifle will just plain shoot!! I let my buddies shoot it ONE time and they are both building their own rifles, now. I picked up another lower and should have my new krieger barrel in .260 Rem, by the end of the month. Is this proof enough that they are, "taking off?" <thumbsup>
