  1. Sorry for the late reply - I believe so.
  2. imschur, the MDT TAC21, I am going to get one! I already contacted them about the Remington Long Action for my Remington 700 stainless in .300 Win Mag. They said something like 4 months. Can't wait, I like it because it has the facility of using the Magpul PRS stock and MIAD grip. As for .338 LM, too expensive to feed for my budget. I am on the lookout for the Remington in that caliber though.
  3. Here are a few more pictures.
  4. I had the opportunity to purchase these at below what they normally go for. My friend is in financial difficulties and so I bought these from him.
  5. I just completed a 6.5 Grendel build that I am going to mount a scope on and for quick emergency transitions or during competition I am going to go with the Dueck RTS. Check it out - it's a great idea. You don't have to flip open any back up sights. They are mounted so that you always have a set of deployed sights that are the same as what you see on an M16A2 except that both the rear and front sight at the 1 or 2 o'clock angle. A twist of the wrists and you are looking at metallic sights.
  6. I am definitely going to get a set of these. Excellent idea and execution.
  7. I definitely agree with your observations. I cannot afford anything over 1k and so I went ahead with the Snipers Hide group buy (originally priced at $1499 but with the group buy at $999): the SWFA Super Sniper 5-20 X 50 HD - about 31 mills of elevation (30mm tube), FFP etc. (they no longer have any affiliation with the Tasco super snipers of old). They should arrive from Japan shortly. I will of course use a geiger on it before I use it extensively. These are not the first generation of Super Snipers. These scopes have glass that is at least equal to or better than the Night Force scopes and the mechanicals are hugely improved. I can't wait to mount it on my LR 308s and my MEGA Monolith 6.5 Grendel builds. If it were not for the Snipers Hide group buy, I would have gone for a Bushnell 6-24 illum. with the FFP and etc. Or as an alternative the Vortex Viper PST 6-24 - however, they are having problems with delivery and I lost patience and went with the group buy. The combination of SWFA and Snipers Hide was just too good to let pass. The Optics Talk is where I go for information on optics and m4carbine.net is where I go for m4carbines and middies. Here is where I go to share and learn about .308 ARs ;-)
