I have to agree with Jim on this. This is a very slippery slope and will only get worse over time. It seems as soon as a precedent is set it is abused by those in authority.

Don't disconnect the battery. That will not turn off the light but it could set the alarm mode and disable the radio. Only a scan tool can turn off the light.

If people are willing to eat them (I'm not) I don't get it when they want to ban them from hanging on a truck.

SWFA seems to make a good scope. I have a 10x42 on my dpms ap4 and it works great!

What made you decide to move to the 308 AR/AR-10 Platform?

I wanted a rifle that could shoot accurately further than AR15 and be used for hunting elk and deer. I liked the AR platform and the way the rifle handled. I shot my dpms on sunday for the first time and had a blast! Accurate and a mild recoil. -

Hello all. Just traded my ar 15 for a DPMS 308 with a 16 inch barrel. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but I'm trying for this weekend! Hope to learn a lot about my new toy from you all here. ;D
