found on google while searching for long range 308 rifles...and its one of the few sites not blocked by my works firewall

hey, my name is Chris, I'm 25 and from VA. I'm fairly new to owning firearms but not new to being around them. after a weekend of shooting at my uncles i started looking for a long range rifle for target shooting for fun, i like bolt actions but came across the DPMS LR-308 and loved the look (I've never really liked typical ARs but the "long range precision" version (sniper *hiss*) really appealed to my tastes) now I'm on the journey to build my own as my 2nd firearm. look forward to learning as much as i can and hopefully get one put together this year. (new homeowner so funds are really low, but one can dream)
