I recently purchased a DPMS 308 Mk12 rifle. It comes with an adjustable JP single stage trigger. I'm not a huge fan of this trigger and want to swap it out with a 2 stage. I have a CMMG 2 stage unit that I purchased a while back for a build - subsequently put it away and forgot I had it until I "found" it this weekend. I am wondering if this is a good way to go for this rifle set up. I have read that many parts are interchangeable but I have no first hand experience since this DPMS is my first 308 AR. Thanks in advance for you comments.

What's up all? I found this site doing research on a DPMS 308 Mk12. I've owned a few AR15s by DPMS with no problems. I have been thinking of going down the .308 road and saw a 308 Mk12 at a shop last week. I've been trying to find out something about them. It seems to be set up well, with good components. I just want to be able to hit the broad side of a deer at 0-200 yards. Anyway, the price is right and I will probably pull the trigger anyway. Glad I found this forum to become better informed on 308 ARs. If nothing else, it will give me another source of information and misinformation.
