It's not as easy as 1 2 3 here in California, ypu have to jump through a bunch of hoops to buy either a legal turbo kit of sorts or let's say swap a motor. I would love to turbo it though

Hey guys, Well I have this old beater honda civic with about 240k on it. Very good on gas. My question to you guys is, would you guys fix it up? For example new shocks or springs, touch up the fading black parts with some black spray. Maybe get it repainted? or would it all be a waste? I'm thinking I wanna keep this car until it completely craps out. BUT, I kinda want something diffent, I want to potentially buy a 1970s z and fix it up (money pit). Just something about those cars so sexy. BUT BUT, I also want something newer but hate the thought of being in debt.
