My question is, do the plastic ones seat differently because of the pointed tips? Compared to the standard bthp? I've read that with a auto loading rifle there's a chance the tips may get ruined. Honestly I'm having withdrawals about not going shooting because I'm currently out of ammo so for now I just read read read about these things to kinda sooth the urges hahah

Originally my trip there was going to be strictly 100 yard shooting but we got excited and went to the 300. Was trying out a new powder imr4064 and I have to say I love this powder. Here is a picture of one of the groupings with it for the 150gn What I used to "qualify" for the 300

You know, at the range I normally go to the targets are on the floor. At that range I totally felt I was muscling the rifle to get it where it needed to because of target in relation to the height of my bags and bipod. At the new range the targets were about 6 feet of the ground, which felt better with my rifles point of aim with either bags or bipod. So much more comfterable. I think I have a picture of my suppose qualification so I can go to the 300 got it on my first try. I will be going to that range from now on. Even though my groups at 300 are not the best I still felt very comfterable shooting it. I will try to relax a bit more and wait a bit longer before shots. I think I just felt that way when I first got there with it being a new range and the excitement. Thank you brother bubba for the info.

I try to breath slow and calmly. I shoot on exhale when I see the target clearest. I guess I'm just excited lol. Plus having to walk 600 yards total distance there and back to change my target is some good cardio

How do I go about getting my adrenaline to go down? Some times I feel like my hearts racing. Or is it just time behind the rifle

I'll have to double check my scopes max adjustment as for my mount it's a bolbro medium I think lol I don't remeber haha. With time I want to pick the rifle as far as it can go with me behind it

Thanks how far would you say this magnification is good for once i get aoad going i want to shoot 600 then 800 ;) ;) Would it be terrible idea to zero aT 300 instead of 100?

Also, is it weird that I prefer to shoot at 14x vs 20x at 300?

It was a bit hard to stay consistent Nd really zero it down because the ammo want the same

I was going to post in the range pics thread but it was locked so here it is. It was fun, down side I wasted my loads I made for developing at 100 yards. So I'm gonna have to re do them. Here is one. This second picture the left target is my buddies and the right target is mine. All in all not to shabby I would think it was fun the targets at this new range I went to were actually off the ground so aiming at them was much more comfterable and natural.
