Hello all hopefully I'm in the right section. Will a cold bore shot always be your most accurate? I was at the range yesterday and my first shot was right in the middle of the bullseye circle, my second through fourth short where about an inch and a half to the right. I'm assuming it's my error on that part bench shooting just doesn't feel natural to me.i noticed as the barrel got warmer my shots got worse. I didn't let the barrel get to hot before I stopped, it was still touchable. How long do u guys wait inbetween shots or is there a cool down period you guys follow. Prone feels more natural for me but haven't made it to. Local range that allows prone.

I don't think it's an off roster, I mean It was a simple buy at the gun shop. The rifle comes with a nikon piece of glass and a champion bipod

Hello all, so a while back I got my 1911 took it to the range didn't like it. Maybe I need more range time with it but here is my question. I was offered a trade for it. A savage 11/111 300 wsm trophy hunter and like 450 is on top. What do you guys think good trade? Rifle has about 12 rounds it. Just want to grow my rifle selection and I love my glock. Thoughts?

Great points being made. Hopefully this thread will be of some help for other builders. I also like the idea of being able to choose my magnification. Need more local buddies that have a fixed scoped I can look through and see how I like it. What objective lense size do you gentlemen prefer?

He talks about how a good 10x scope is good out to 1000 meters, of course you will have to add all the calculations it may take to make that shot. Spike highly of the swfa ss 10x

So I plan in getting a better scope in the first focal plane later in the future. After watching this videoSNIPER 101 Part 18 - Variable vs Fixed Magnificat…: It makes me wonder what would give me the best result for my coin. I've been watching this guy's series and it's really good. He doesn't really reccomend a variable zoom unless you're forking out some serious coin. What are your thoughts? As I progress with my abilities I will only be shooting long range.for now I'll be sticking with my vortex viper 6.5-20x44

I used some 222 just now on it and the alen wrench is not in my range box

They don't allow it at my range, I went to the range to and I was pretty disappointed with my shooting today. Before I could shoot my smks my bolt catch screw came un done and stoped the party short. Need to keep that tiny alen wrench in my range tool box.
