They have two diffrent powders for the 175smk. After going through their Manual. Ar comp and power pro 2000mr Went ahead and screen capped what you said for quick refrence. I think mentioned earlier th lc brass has less capacity correct. I also emailed Alliant about the 175 with rl15. I'll post what they respond

So far I've sorted what I manged to trim all weekend (not much) By head stamp and weight. I'm going to purchase a digi scale and re weigh them though. From what I've seen, nice and slow does it. Just use a drill for all the drilling and then let the router do the work or it will start to jump.

So what I found from sierra. They reccomend r15 for hunting not accuracy. 2200 2300 2400 2500 35.8, 37.6, 39.5, 41.3 I've read sierras conservative? This data is bunched with the 180gr

I need up for some reloaded 15. I went to their website. But they don't have load data for the 175smk. The manual I have is an old one reloading abcs, I'll have to double check it. Can any one point me in the right direction?

I've had a look at them, the 80% arms jig and lowers with the router style cutting seems to be the easiest way to go if you don't have a drill press ( I dont ).

So u have a lyman caliper and the box says it's accurate to the nearest .001 my new lee she'll cutter was doing fine for a while now it's cutting 2.004, 2.003 is that still ok? According to saami specs max trim length is 2.015. And from what I read the usual minimum is 2.05 just a little frustrated lol Gave it a few more tries and now it's timing at 2.000 Well I think I figured out the problem from reading another post else where. I applied to much pressure and it weird the part out prematurely is all I can think of

With out a drill press? I've seen the eighty percent router based jig. Which sees to look pretty easy. Any thoughts?

I think my jp has a stamp of 7.62 I can double check. It may say 308 don't remeber but I confirmed with jp that it can shoot both fine

Sizing and decapping was relaxing drank some Sam Adams and ran through the cases in no time. So fsr I've trimmed maybe ten cases lol. I wanna trust the cutter but I always end up measuring every case.
