  1. Update: For my three uppers (260, 308 and 338 Fed), I am using the same BCG. Anyone want one?:-) kineticpandm.com/products. Check it out:-)
  2. That's nice! Well done sir:-) Kevin

  4. Hey gents, My RRA 338 Federal and 260 Remington. 338 has a light contour barrel with a Leu. 2-7 VXR and the 260 heavy with a Bushnell 5-15x. Both shoot extremely well with the same bcg:-) I just swap the upper and put the same bcg back in..voila! 260, 308 abd 338:-):-):-):-)
  5. It looks like from here the 338 would be in higher demand...l'm thinking the initial offering will be in that caliber...less than 900 bucks it looks like....Be safe all... SemperFi, KBob
  6. Yeah Shibiwan, the gentlemen running the range was enjoying the .338 "show"...It lets you know it's there on both ends:-)
  7. Thanks "Survivalshop"...will post there when I offer them for sale. I will work up a "ballpark" price and PM you in the meantime Tripledeuce. Thanks for lookin'! KBob
  8. And 338 target...sorry about the previous dupe... KBob
  9. Tested both of the "new guys" today and could not be much happier with the results...Proud Papa:-) 338 Fed is a 20 inch light contour hunting barrel....Built it to knock down big hogs:-) Shoots better than I had hoped, so no complaints there... 260 is meant as a long range target/varmint rifle. 24 inch heavy contour barrel. Need to get the loads a bit hotter, but man does it shoot too! Barrels have polished chambers and feed ramps. If there is interest in either from anyone, let me know. Might offer them for sale;) KBob Kinetic Performance and Machine, LLC
  10. Thanks for all the support man. Anyhoo, thats the plan sir, to not have to buy a new bcg. Testing will have to bare this out, but my goal is 260, 308 and 338 with same bolt:-) Thus far, tolerance stack is agreeable, so going to test more and hope for the best!
  11. Greetings all from Northern Illinois. I have been following this forum for a while and have been frustrated too with the lack of caliber options on the Rock River platform. I'm a retired Marine, hotrodder, shooter and wanting to help supplement my "budget" and was wondering: Would anyone pay $1000.00 for a full float tube equipped Rock River LAR 8 compatible upper with a 20" light contour 338 Federal barrel or a heavy contour 260 Remington? This would be complete with no bolt or charging handle. (Use your bolt, carrier and charging handle). Just wondering if there is a market after I get done testing. Lead times would apply of course due to the industrial base demand right now. Thanks for the time annd space! Y‘all be safe, Semper Fi! KBob
