  1. Looks kinda snappy. But +1 on being careful the words you choose. The likelihood of a prosecutor turning that on you (when given an opportunity) is almost 100% Makes gov. problems seem like a stretch;) That said, your decisions and to each their own.
  2. Pumped! Now I can gradually transition away from the arfcom cluster-f of condescension, served with a side of constant 1-upsmanship....love logging into that cruel mistress awkward face). Make me feel more badly that I can't afford the only gun that actually fires. (Noveske) Breathe...I'm cool now. Can't wait to actually show you guys this 1st build of mine, get your thoughts and expertise.
  3. Thanks, I read it and am confident that the "ignorance-train" was limited to 1 maybe 2 people in there. Reassuring to have my thoughts confirmed. Seems like a very cool community here. Knowledge is power, communication is key...and a solid helping of whit makes everyone's day better. PS, I call my wife the waker...never get naps anymore. ugh
  4. Check, check, check... And mate. This is reassuring, as everything here sounds straight-up and logical. I appreciate solid info. Hopefully I can share some (info that is), at some point;)
  5. One is on the way...can't wait to assemble and post pics/review this rail. Will be excited to post my first build and I appreciate the info I find on here.
  6. ^This. If newb coming for information reads this stuff, it contradicts everything I've learned to this point. This is the 2nd place I've seen 78 throwing out info like this that doesn't make sense. Different gas tubes, ar15 buffers...por que?
  7. THIS is the reason these forums are handy...because some type what they run and it doesn't work. I've been doing research, in order to not screw up my first 308 build...this kinda thing gets confusing. In fact, I'm going to threadjack, because you guys seem to know what you're talking about. Problem: A sales guy is trying to inform me that a standard Carbine MIL-SPEC buffer tube will not work with a 308 Carbine Spring/308 Carbine buffer setup. Black Rain "told him" that only commercial tubes will run properly. What? I have a DPMS type lower/upper (in case it matters). He claims the tube is not long enough, even though the 308 Carbine buffer is shorter. He's holding up my order over this...what say you?
