    Then why blame Beretta for complying? Either way, there is no current pistol that is, that much better to justify the cost of switching. With more and more enemies starting to wear body armor, there is no need to go back the 45acp. It has a even less chance of penetrating armor.

    You do understand that Beretta but the safety right were the DOD requested it be.

    I wanted a rifle that could make good hits on steal at 600 to 800 yards. I have a nice accurate AR-15, but making solid hits past 500 yards is hard in the wind. My AR-15's twist rate is only 1in9, so no heavy 22 bullets for me.
