Thanks for the link, at least Brownells has some LE901 parts. I just need the bbl extension and nut, I can thread and chamber the bbl. Rio

Took 3 days to get a new password or I would have replyed sooner. I want to be able switch bbls . Keep the original as is, with a barrel extension and nut I can put on a 20" 6.5 Creedmoor and change barrels and the gun is back to spec.

A while back I got a Colt LE 901 Modular 16 S. I would like to re barrel to 6.5 Creedmoor. I'm trying to get a bbl extension, gas tube and block. I made a wrench and changing bbl would be a snap. When Colt still had contact e-mail I talked to someone and was informed if they ever sold those parts Brownells would handle that. Two weeks ago Brownells was good enough to get in touch with Colt, no reply so far. Checked Colt web site today and the LE901 Mod. is not listed in the catalog. Do they still make it, and can someone tell me if an outside vendor makes those parts for Colt or any other way I can get them.

    Colt LE901

I have shot an Ar15 in competition and have two uppers plus a .22LR unit. I thought it would be nice to have another lower and wound up with the Colt .308, both my AR15 uppers fit and my .22LR unit. I have fallen in love with the LE901 because it doesn't beat me up like the M1A I had. I'm an iron sight shooter and the short sight radius is not good for old eyes. I would like to put on a longer bbl. Talked to Colt and the person said in a nice way they do not sell parts. As you can see from the picture with an extra bbl extension and nut it would be easy to switch bbls without taking off the gas block. If anyone has some connections at Colt or any supplyer that makes bbl extensions use your influence and help me out. Adolf
