which one is gen 1?

I forgot to add that I am talking about the lowers, Gen 1 vs Gen 2. I want to be able to add a Phase 5 EBRV2/308 bolt release and that needs a gen 1 lower.

I need some help, Guys. How do I tell a gen 1 from a gen 2. I can't find any posts about this. Does anybody have Gen 1 S/N cut off? I'm looking at two that are 10-12 years old with S/N's over 22,500. Would these be a 1 or 2? Thanks

Have not used CTD from 2012. I will never forget or forgive them. I will go without, before I use CTD again.
