  2. Welcome back Hans- I'm not too far from you- in Lafayette. I also like to shoot on public lands, but they keep adding restrictions. Soon there won't be anyplace to shoot except for private ranges! :'( I'll check out the USA Liberty site and thanks for the tip! <thumbsup>
  3. Thanks for the input!
  4. I agree- it's time more folks start looking at the job our elected officials are doing and pull the plug on those who are caving in to the special interest groups that would see our 2nd Amendment rights dismissed!
  5. <lmao> I wish I had that problem- Mine doesn't like to shoot, but she does like shoes! And they can cost the big bucks!!!
  6. Hey there folks. Been in and around firearms for quite sometime; back in the day we carried the M-14, and then the M-16. I loved the platform of the M-16 compared to the M-14, but didn't care for the smaller round. Had an FFL for years until the BATF made reporting so difficult for the smaller business owner and after that, didn't have the $$ to get into gunsmithing on a decent scale, so.... now I do and am going to build a 308 on the AR platform, which is why I am here! Hope to meet up with others from my area as well. Thanks :blahblah:
  7. Good luck Crimson, San Antonio is a nice area! No mountains though!
  8. Has anyone used Ares Armor's 80% lower receivers to build an AR? Saw them on FB today and was curious. http://aresarmor.com/store/Item/aa-billet-ar10-III-RAW
  9. So, your wife is spoiled because............ Every time you want to buy something for your AR, she gets something too??? <thumbsup>
  10. Started with the M14 back in the day and liked the power of the .308. Since then I have had several bolt actions and they never let me down. Now that I can afford it, I wanted to build one.
  11. Did everyone leave Colorado when they started messing with our 2nd Amendment rights?? No posts in a year and a half? New to this forum- From Weld/ Boulder counties.
