  5. Knight's Armament SR25/M110 7.62x51 magazines. Very highly sought after because of their high quality and reliability. They work in most .308 ARs except ArmaLite B models and the RRA LAR-8. These are rare, and are used but good condition. I have 15 of these, but I may decide to keep some. $70 shipped each, $200 for 3. Thanks for looking!
  6. well rounded armory. I'm noticing a lack of weaponlights, however. plans?
  7. very nice, I too love the UBR stock. There is no stronger stock available. Do you have plans for backup sights? edit: necro post, good god. sorry for that, I say May and didnt check the year.
  8. My background: USMC marksmanship instructor, Pennsylvania police, and ardent Second Amendment support. Not much more to say about that. I'm a gun guy. For many years I have wanted to get into AR10s as I have AR15s, but I had an M14 with lots of money into it, so it never happened. Well, this year I bought my first AR10 at a gunshow (ArmaLite AR10B, killer deal) and I was hooked. I have since sold my M14 and other spare (if there is such a thing) guns and my focus is on completing my next project, a S&W M&P10. I love the idea of light, nimble, and powerful rifles for general purpose use. While I will never ditch my 5.56 ARs, and in the event of an emergency thats what I'm bringing, a 7.62 AR certainly has its place. I'm very happy to be fully engrossed with the platform and look forward to giving and receiving knowledge and experience here.
  9. I agree that these triggers are nice. I've always been a single stage GI AR trigger guy, but when I got my AR10B with one of these in it, I began to like it. While I wont be changing my other triggers, I'll be keeping this one in my 10B... reminds me of the M14 trigger. It has a finesse to it.
  10. As I found it at a gunshow. They were asking far too little for this. How she sits now: I hit the gold mine at a gunshow, and found this ArmaLite AR10B retro battle rifle. Its the 50th anniversary made in 2004, and thus came with no bayonet lug and with a weird muzzle brake installed. I added a standard front sight with bayonet lug, and reamed it out for taper pins. the muzzle brake was removed, barrel threaded, and a normal flashider was added. The incorrect A2 stock and grip were ditched, and a Cavalry C1 stock and Tango Down BG16 in flat dark earth were RIT dyed to match the chocolate brown of the handguards. The handguards also have heatshielding from A2 handguards added to increase heat resistance. I chose the BG16 pistol grip because it looks more like the original AR10 grip, but is also functional as it covers the trigger guard gap and has storage. This rifle is ready for battle, and really feels like the way the AR10 was supposed to be. Light, nimble, simple, and yet still powerful.
