Any links to ArmaLite "pattern" non-serrated Bolt Carriers (Not DPMS or CMMG...) WOULD HELP otherwise how would I find a non-serrated ArmaLite bolt carrier to go with a new ArmaLite complete Bolt ? (Is there an Equipment Exchange section of the forum board here or is Gunbroker type sites only hope ?

I really want a non serrated carrier that is ArmaLite pattern to go with ArmaLite Bolt /Receiver Extension/Barrel Nut/Rifle Stock &Buffer if one can be found & purchased ...

Did ArmaLite make Non Serrated AR10 Bolt Carrier in past for Rifles without Bolt Forward assist ?

Can a non serrated DPMS Bolt Carrier and ArmaLite Bolt be used in a Non -Forward assist ArmaLite upper with ArmaLite Mags and ArmaLite Barrel ???

To build a Non Forward Assist AR10A2 Rifle in correct configuration is a non serrated Carrier the correct configuration or were these rifles shipped/sold with Bolt Carrier Groups that had serrations for the Forward assists regardless of FA or non FA upper ? And if ArmaLite made a Bolt Carrier Group in past without serrations can I use an ArmaLite Bolt in another Brand Name non serrated Carrier if an ArmaLite non serrated Carrier is unobtainable ?

Ordered my California Compliant ArmaLite Lower a few days back for my "Retro" classic AR10A2 build (I sure hope my rollmarks on my lower match yours as it will be nearly perfect (AR10A) and only thing missing will be the 2 after the A ... This build will be challenging as I will try to go about it as I have my Retro AR builds (XM16E1) (M16A1/603) (CAR 15) (M16A2/HBAR) ... trying to use original era parts & configuration ... Any help you guys give me on my build is greatly appreciated //

BTW thanx for the reply jtallen83 , I ordered the Cal Legal ArmaLite B lower yesterday through my FFL and it looks like I have quite a while to gather parts and build my AR10A2 retro Classic "Stripped" Upper lol... ( The Rear Sight parts & AR 10 port door kit are my starting points)

They (ArmaLite) are sold out on AR10A2 Rear sight kits but with your link to the M15 rear Sight kit it appears most of the part numbers are the same as the AR10A2 kit . There are a smattering of out of stock or no longer available parts in the AR10A2 kit contents . I'm willing to purchase the ArmaLite M15 parts or Kit if only a couple of the parts are different (Rear Sight Base/Aperture/Index knob... and track those down later

I just have a disdain for the Bolt On Carry Handles and try to avoid confusion between the two ... BTW do you guys know if I can use M16A2 Rear sight components on my AR10A2 upper ?(ArmaLite has fewer & fewer AR10 A2 Rear sight components available)

Are the Carry Handle (B Model) AR10A2 Rear sight parts interchangeable with M16A2 Carry Handle Upper Rear Sight parts ?

OK Guys I have backed away from the Matrix Lower Idea (Mating my AR10 Carry Handle model upper with a Matrix Lower ) and I will pursue ordering an ArmaLite California Compliant B series Lower . ArmaLite says the Matrix Lower is not compatible with my Pre 2012 ArmaLite Carry Handle Upper. (Matrix lower takes PMags ) and my Upper desires ArmaLite Metal Mags??) Now I'm confused but not disillusioned ...

I have an 'Older" AR 10 stripped "Used" upper it is Matte Black and it is a "Carry Handle" upper without Forward Assist (But it has Brunton Bump shell deflector) is this an A2 upper or a Carry Handle B model upper ????

A quick Google Search of pics of ArmaLite AR 10 A2 shows (Two Variants of Carry Handle upper including an A2 Carry Handle style Without Forward assist , and a later model with forward assist ) . If a early to middle 90s AR10 Carry Handle upper (Without Forward Assist is a B model I would like to know , and if my Upper is Very Rare which I think it is then I'm pleased to move forward with the build. (I live in California thus ARMALITE Lowers are verboten ,except some elusive Cal Legal Model which I'm getting nowhere on researching availability of a Stripped Lower for purchase )

On the PMags is there differences between Gen 2 and Gen 3 ( Like they are incompatible with AR10B ) But my ArmaLite A2 upper is not B model and my Matrix ArmaLite patern lower takes ArmaLite A pattern LPK Am I GTG with most .308 Pmags regardless of Generation of them ???
